Clunking Noise?

hey all.....

i have a 95 gt t-bar and when i brake sometimes a clunk comes from the front left of the car, it appears to be totally random and doesnt matter how fast im goin or how hard im braking. any ideas what it is?

your wheel bolts tightened up properly? sounds silly but Ive done it before

when i had clunking noise turned out to be the top mount of the suspension

its just when im braking mainly, although i think it may clunk rarely whilst turning!

wheel nuts are tight, first thing i checked! if it does clunk rarely when turning would this indicate top mounts are gone?

not suggesting it is them but it may well be mate theres a topic of it somehwere will search now

like already mentioned it's got to be something on the lines with your top mounts - drop link - anti-roll bar etc etc etc

what i'd do is get it in the air and check the front end for anything loose.
