Mine:

(Yes I have really nasty £15 fake-alloy wheel trims :( )

My wife's:

I was offered the the red one when I passed my test in January but I was worried about bumping/scraping it and besides the colour is a bit girly!

I'm trying to decide whether to go to the effort of getting the bumpers/mirrors colour coded on mine, as well as putting some nicer wheels on - or maybe I'll just wait a while and something a bit nicer when I build up some experience & NCB.. :help:

Looks cute... ;)

Dont worry, until a few weeks ago me and my other half had matching Toyotas - mine's a Carlo Blue T-Spirit Yaris and his was a Carlo Blue T-Spirit Corolla - he's now got a Focus ST, so we dont get the mickey taking anymore from friends!

Love the colour of your wifes Yaris (Caldera Red I believe?)

Yeah, get the bumpers sprayed on yours and some new wheels would look nice - what happened to the original wheels if you dont mind me asking?

Good pair of Yarii you've got there  Nothing wrong with having the same car as your Partner IMO - me and Yves have a P1 Yaris T-Sport and a P2 Yaris Blue:

Might be worth getting a quote done for an idea on colour coding in your local area and decide if the expense is worth it or not maybe?

I'm not sure what that red is called, it is quite nice but does look a bit pink in some lights.

I still have the original wheel trims for mine but when I passed my test I had the novelty of going in Halfords and buying tat  I'm 29 so FINALLY learning drive is quite a big thing and I got a bit carried away!

Hey - I remember that feeling well! :D Dont worry about it - you can easily get some new wheels, or some shiny new alloys for that matter quite reasonably priced - it wont cost much to make your Yaris look even more lovelier! :D

I'm sure its Caldera Red, its very pretty anyway!

I could be wrong but surely you could get a colour coded upper front/rear bumper?

I'm sure you could get them from the breakers and would probably be cheaper than a re-spray - I've got a dent in my lower rear bumper, I could either pay for it to be repaired or get one in good nick from a breaker.

Love the two yaris thing too ..... I remember when I use to take the missus to college in Lemington there was a big posh house with two yaris on the drive

So cute

Nah it's not Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay as you put it!

We both had Yarii before we met anyway so it wasn't exactly intentional :P

I definately would not recommend doing that, I'd been doing the same with mine & the car never really felt like it was mine, I always felt like I was kind of "keeping it warm" for the next owner until I could get a better car, I've only recently started feeling like it's my car & I've had it for well over a year. Get the bumpers & wing mirrors done, it looks miles better. Worry about getting something "a bit nicer" when you're able to, for the time being enjoy it & make it look as nice as possible

It is. The red car is a Phase 1 Colour Collection. It should have little badges saying as such on the door mirror mounts.
