Last Sept paid for a set of coilovers from mr2oc

Got them yesterday :censor:

Fitted them on today, but have had to make one on the back longer so the car sits level

anyone esle had to do this?? also was told to unwind the springs fully ? thought this would give them alot of movement which is what I don't want.

Any thoughts??

Thanx Paul..

What type of coilovers are they?

why not just move them until you get the car to sit the way you want?

They are G-Force, done that only the o/s rear is almost 1" longer then the n/s

the front is great!

something doesnt sound right!

maybe if you unwind all the springs fully and then tighten them in stages that might help.

otherwise the other option is to put some weight down in the car help bed the springs in.

failing that take them back, saying there a pile of poo.

sorry i cant help you much more than that.

Been pants :censor: from day one got them from mr2 :censor: group buy Lookie should have been K-sport which have a good name in the U.S. When they came yesterday not bad to say we paid in Sept last year!! they are G-Force  Always beleaved if you made them the same size and all that, but you can adjust the springs as well as the mounting points.

was there any instrucions with them?

But to be honest from what your saying I would doubt a "tunning" garage could fit them, without making some sort of modification.

best bet is to see how the others fitted them (if they can)

Speak to the manufacturer. If they recommend having different spring settings to get the ride height the same, then send them back and never talk of them again.

Always a nightmare when things don't go to plan. I feel for you guys.

By the way... I want more pics... I do love the TRD! Seen plenty of Shaf's... just not enough of yours! :P :D

Hey Paul, just been looking at this pic...

K-sport4.jpg

Looks like the lower part of the rear struts can be adjusted in height too (If they are the same ones).

Have you checked they both started at the same height before fitting them?

Ours are like the ones in the middle, the paper that came with them says not to adjust the top part where the springs are for height

they are on now  can't believe the ride now.

Those are them( pic from someone esle who got them in the G/B )
