CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT DUMP VALVE TO PUT ON MY JAP SPEC ST185 AND HOW MUCH THEY ARE TO GET FITTED OR SHOW ME PICS OV WERE IT FITS ON IAM NEW TO THESE CARS LOVE THEM VERY VERY MUCH IT ALREADY GOT AN APEXI FULL EXAUST SYSTEM/K&N INDUCTION KIT/DE-LIMITED.I WANT A DUMP VALVE FOR THE NOISE ASWELL AS :help::help::help:

Any dump valve you want.... Depends on what sound you want i guess.

They can cost anywhere between £40 and £300 for a brand new one and very easy to fit yourself.

I dont know about the bailey DV. I have heard they are really quiet... but that might be what your after?

I personnaly love the HKS SSQV dump valve which i have on my car. You can get a brand new genuine HKS one on eBay for around £120 delivered. :)

THANX GUYS AFTER A LONG DRIVE DOWN TO DEMON TWEEKS I GOT A EVO TWIN PISTON DUMP VALVE DV26SI-D THATS WHAT THEY RECOMENDED AND THE FITTING KIT BUT NOT SURE WERE THE PIPE FROM THE TOP GOES TO CAN ANYONE SHOW ME A PIC OV WERE IT GOES I THINK IT GOES TO THE INLET MANIFOLD BUT CARNT SEEM TO LOCATE IT THERE ARE A FEW PIPES DOWN THERE

Sorry to jump on this thread, im new to this and have an st205 running 324.4bhp, i want a different dump valve, i see you have sugested 2 from e-bay, prices verry reasonable but i cant find either !!! any links please, also im after a new zorst, would you sugest a 2.5 inch or a 3inch ??? thanks guys n gals.

for the pipe for the DV tap into the aircon idle up (on the bulkhead with two pipes one from the manifold. the valve has a screw type adjuster on it)

type in sard R2D2 ito eBay search and there should be a few, i have one and they are good. as for exhaust blue flame (they make them for mongoose) do a good one at a reasonable price, or more expensive is the blitz and hks systems. both of the latter are rather load and droany without the decibel insert

Im haveing a custom zorst made next saterday, by longlife, iv had several made before by them and thay are verry good, just not sure wether to go with a 2.5 or 3inch , had mixed advice on both. Typed the r2d2 and the hks in and cant find one for the st205 :crybaby:

If you've got the stock turbo and are scrapping the cat (i.e. turbo back exhaust) then keep a 2.5" section otherwise you'll get boost creap.

A up mate,

Got the same DV on mine, the pipe coming off the Dv goes to the inlet manifold, if you look on the left hand side of the inlet manifold you will see 2 pipes on the bottom comong out. T'd mine into the right hand pipe and it works fine.

One thing i've noticed tho is when its run for a while it seems to stop working and leak when you come on boost. :censor:

Found out that with its situation the heat is expanding it slightly and causing it to close very slowly.#

I'm in two minds weather to route it further away or just take it back and say its s**t.

Like the sard but did'nt think they made a kit for the 185.

hi peps my dump valve is a blitz not bad could be louder but think it has somthing to do with the sound deadning under the bonet

You want to take the insulation off then mate.

Make it loader and get rid of some of that unwanted heat :thumbsup:
