Wind Deflectors Fitted!

As the title suggests, decided I wanted to get a pair as I was fed-up with water dripping onto my electric windows/mirror switch! Thought I'd give them a go and whacked the wipers on full and sprayed loads of water and guess what!!?? They worked!! Just waiting for some heavy rain now to really test them. If, like me, your window is always down then I'd definately recommend them, the only downside is the price - £100 including p&p and insurance  Hopefully they'll be worth it!!

I hate it when I get soaked when its open especially being a smoker. They look quite subtle - like there almost standard, When people say wind deflectors I always think of those huge perspex things they had about 15 years ago!!!!

I too am one of those!!! And actully they're JDM window side visors!!! Think they were available as an option on JDM cars after 96

Adam you binned them??!!! :ffs: If only we'd known !!! These ones are original Toyota ones aswell, fairly hard to get hold of i think which accounts for the price!

Here's the website, HERE you'll have to email them but they do sometimes sell them on eBay, user id hediko98.

With postage they'll cost between 90 and 100 quid depending on if you want insurance and express delivery (3-5 days)(mine arrived on the fifth day!)

They are pricey but with some of the real heavy rain we've had they've been a godsend!! :)

As for diy-ing them chris?!?!!!! GOOD LUCK!! :D

They took 5 days to get here, not bad at all really considering they come from Hong kong. To fit they have a strong adhesive strip of foam and 4 clips which slide underneath the trim. Don't think they'll be going anywhere for a while!!

I like those. Really unobtrusive. Not like the huge umbrella sized ones i had on my Pajero.

:D When I said to a guy that I know from my local that I was getting some wind deflectors he said they're crap, they get all scratched and they look awful just like the ones on his Pajero!!!! I then went outside and had a look and he was right!!! Looks like an African elephant!! :D

I'm really happy with them - even in pouring rain with window open, wipers on, I now only get a couple of drips which land on my arm rather than a huge tidal wave that used to soak my electric windows/mirrors console! Already they have been well worth the cash for me as I've always liked having the window down when driving.

Well the saying is cheap at half the price isn't it, but if you think about it then of course it would be blooming cheap at half the price,, so I always say cheap at twice the price which means that they are good value at that price and would be worth paying double for!! But would I have paid 200 squids for them??!!! probably not!
