Speakers.

New headunt will overpower the original Speakers making them sound no different. They're made of paper... that alone should sell it to you!

Iv got an MP3 player, uprated door & dash Speakers, rear speakers, under seat sub and an amp powering 2 subs in the boot... all on the standard headunit and it sounds belting.

Forget the Speakers - either braided brake lines (70quid) or a strut brace (100) - the stereo can come later - better braking or handling is the most important thing!

HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!?! Chrikey. 400w too?? Are you amping them?? The maximum any headunit pumps out is about 60w per channel... standard is about 10w! I'd save some cash and get slightly lower specced Speakers unless you're gonna go the whole hog with the car audio... that's a lot of money!!

Brakelines.... deffo a good idea! They're an awesome bit of kit... no sponginess to the pedal when braking and a firmer halt! Very good value for money!

Anybody want some rear lines for their T-Sport?!?! Only the fronts fit mine, so the rears are up for grabs!

I got them brand new off eBay for half the price of the actual store so they are still expensive but not as bad, my dad gave me an old amp so wiring up the front Speakers with that.

I would get a brace but only just passed test and im 17 so insurance is like 2 grand for the SR already!

1. You can get a strut brace MUCH cheaper than £100

2. The brake lines you may be able to just get a set of front ones off envy (as thats all you need so may be able to save some money)

3. Insurance quotes for me on an SR on own policy TPFT i got down to £1300 (as a 17 year old)! Just a thought if your paying £2k atm! Who are you insured with out of interest?

I am with norwich union at the moment, its fully comp, parents have two cars in garage so mine has to sit on the drive. That might have something to do with it ?!

I already bought myself some racing puma's :P
