T-spirit 2003 - Ice On Rear Internal Window

Hi Guys,

My Toyota Corolla T-Spirit 2003 has been in and out of Norwich Toyota Dealers, owing to a problem which they cannot seem to fix.

Each time there is a frost, ice appears on the inside rear window of the car.

I was initially advised, that the roof lining of the car was saturated, owing to water getting in via the sunroof, as 2 clips were not put in properly when the car was manufactured.

I have since had the roof lining replaced, but still am suffering from water getting into the car somehow, resulting in iced up windows inside the vehicle.

Has anyone heard of this before - and if so, has anyone any ideas as to what could be causing this?

My warranty runs out soon and I'm getting rather nervous about the cost implications of this fault....

Thanks!

have a look in your boot around the spare wheel, see if its wet ? you got damp in the car somewhere.

as long as you've informed them of the fault before your warranty has run out there shouldn't be a problem.

Make a log of each time it's been in with a fault.

Also ask your dealer for a print out of the work logs they've got of your car.

That way you can prove you've an ongoing issue with the car and they should honour any work that has to be done outside the warranty period until it's resolved
