hello all

well after a few tyre kickers have failed to sell the celica so decided to keep it and spend a little money on the car so the question i wanted to ask does anyone know best things to do to a ST182 to up the performance and make it look better. any input welcome.

as well seen a few really deep coloured gen 5 celicas and i would like to get that kinda shine on my car is there a cutting compound that can be used as i have used T-CUT but really hasnt bought the colour out

anyway thanks in advance

Some people will say panel filters are better as there is no heat soak.. however you can get enclosed cold air fed induction kits (such as BMC CDA)

Im not sure about K&N myself. Better off with something like blitz or apexi

what colour is ur car? i use meguires wax and its awesome m8, it really brings it out and adds a deep shine!! its easy to use ,u do the whole car then rub off, theres no faffing around with a panel at a time  i also use the meguires car shampoo to keep the shine.its took me bout 4 waxes [over 4month] to get it nearly spot on.S3010017.jpg

it goes well for a car of the age and milage doesn't burn no oil plus with recipts i have it's never missed a service and had money spent on it. though i now have gathered a occational misfire when accelerating away.

i got offered some wheels off daktari just never got to view them as i was up to my neck in work an that.

anyway off to Halfords tomorrow will get some wax and let you know the results

thanks again ozzy
