How Do You Remove The Speedometer Glass?

Hi everyone,

I have seen a rav4 i am interested in buying, however its an import and they have done the speedometer conversion poorly.. I think they forgot about the fact that removing the needle makes the pin spring back to *before* the plastic pin at 0.. so when thehy have put the needle back on it's reading 10mph too high..

as such I need to alter the position of the needle on the spindle - how easy is this and more specifically how easy is it to get to, how difficult is it to remove the glass in front?
