Yes, the engine code is the same, because the cars are delivered from Toyota with the standard issue 1NZ-FE under the bonnet.

The turbo setup is a dealer installed business. They add the turbo, plumbing and electronics, and some stories say they crack open the block and replace some of the internals but I've never been able to verify this.

In the japan version there is the 15 turbo standard from the factory which 150bhp standard. that's a massive power on that small body

It's a "normal" Vitz RS and after TRD install the turbo, ...

And the Yaris TS Turbo it's the same... A "normal" Yaris TS, and after 'Emil Frey' install TRD Turbo and other pieces...

turbo is the NCP13 with a 1NZ-FE, the car is a Vitz RD Turbo from the factory and there was the TRD Turbo Tuning Plan ans an optional extra
