Stuck Fuel Guage

Hi,

Just wanted to know if anyone had ever had a problem with their fuel guage sticking? I have a 1997 petrol 2 ltre rav.. I took it to a garage for an unrelated problem with a leaky oil seal and when I got it back I realised that my fuel guage had stuck! It doesn't settle down to zero now which is a pain because I have no idea how much I have left in the tank. Would it be possible to repair it, or do I have to look at having it replaced completely?

Any help would be much appreciated.
