If you're really unhappy write to Emma Toms the Customer Services director at Toyota UK if the woman did have a really bad attitude they should be made aware. I'm currently in correspondence with her over one of the workers at the customer relations call centre, no way does anyone accuse me of wasting their time and lying and get away with it. That !Removed! will burn in hell.

On another note, she was a ******. I train staff in customer care in call centres and although you can hide your body language when someone frustrates you (i.e. the customer) you never show it in your voice and tone!

She made assumptions that you knew when to bring the car in instead of asking you if this was the case.

She then spoke to you in a way that made you feel she did you a favour "on this occasion it won't invalidate your warranty". You PAY them so they owe you a service and if you take the money out the equation it's common courtesy and manners to speak to people in a way you would want to be spoken to yourself.

Rant over, glad your car is sorted now

Exactly! I work in an office which is very phone-orientated & I train new people too so I have to be very good at Customer Service (plus it's Motor Insurance too) so know exactly what you mean. Toyota Customer Services called me back on Monday and said they had spoken to the dealer and it's all fine. I wouldn't speak to someone the way she spoke to me for sure. I do feel a bit smug in some ways as they must've seen that the car is looked after and maintained, the girl said so herself when I picked it up!

Thanks, I'm now happy that they've confirmed it is okay and won't affect the warranty. I have the name of who I spoke too (both at the Dealer and Customer Services/Relations) too - I was told by them that I need to take it in at the correct time (ie in September of this year I imagine ). I just said "well now I know that I can do it" but I won't be going to the same dealer again for sure

It wont be September, it'll be January (or earlier if it reaches 20k miles)

No , trust me Toyota (for some reason) kept saying September - they said it once on the phone and when I was there

I do know it's based on each year anniversary of the registration date which is January - I was just saying what they said. I am not going to take it in September anyway

Also me and Yves discussed it all last Weekend aswell ;)
