By the way Gramps - if you have any questions on the old MMT, give Red_Yaris_54 a nudge - he's had his MMT T3 for a little while and raves about them!

interesting step from a A-class to a Yaris!

Why not! From one of the most unreliable cars ever produced from Stuttgart to one of the most reliable currently in production. Mercedes was so fed up with the first version of A-class -- haemorraging in financial terms (had been well documented) from settling repair claims under warranty -- that they speedily produced the revised version, after 2 years. I don't have info on the current model's reliability.

Gramps, I am retired and I own a clutch(-pedal-)less manual transmission drive Yaris. It is a very easy car to drive, and *very* economical to run and maintain. Welcome to your sharing your views with us from time to time.

Hello and welcome from a fiftyone year-old who can also use a computer (cheeky young whippersnappers! ) it's nice to see someone else on here older than me! :P

Seriously though, there are a few other older members on TOC and the more the merrier in my opinion.

I know a lady in her seventies who changed from an A class to a Yaris. She loves it.

Hello, Welcome to TOC :)

My Dad is 63 and is doing a Computer Course at the moment, he can use most microsoft programmes, the 'Net and my Mum knows a bit too (well she can turn it on and send an email using Outlook) and she's 60- I think it's great, but they always ask me whenever they've done something wrong

Anyways enjoy the Yaris, what colour/age is it?
