Got a quote and the Turbo's actually cheaper Weird init!

I'm looking to spend around £5000.

I'd hate to get a bad one so i was thinking of using the dealers but thats not always that realiable either.

Used the AA check b4 as well but thats not too great either :(

If it's a MK2 t-Bar your after would look on autotrader and get a check through the AA and you should be fine, depending on where you are in the country you should be able to find a member who would be willing to come and have a look with you as well....

If you'ld consider a Mk1 T-Bar Supercharger with toys (not that common and very quick, and rare) I can put you in touch with some importers who have some on there books at around the £3,800 mark....

Thinking about the MK2.

Just don't like the mk1, looks dated and because i used to have a MK2 i think i'm happy with what i know and used to.

also what 'check the cross mount struts (behind the passenger compartment either side bottom of engine bay)???

What am i looking for- to see if they are there? damage? under the engine bay?

there are two little strut bars on each side of the enigne bay behind the passenger compartment of the 2, abouta foot long, they have a tendency to rust away, not a major problem and around £21 each to replace but a pain to do and nice to not have to do it....
