I've got a Sera with the Starlet GT engine in it. Goes well, not as fast as a Starlet as a little heavier, but possibly safer in an accident...

Posted

how is there fuel consumption. i hear they also have two boost settings. how does this affect mpg?

Posted

Low boost mode is 115bhp.

High boost mode is 135bhp.

I get about 12km/l from my Sera turbo 1.3 - about the same as before with the n/a 1.5 engine

thanks to sera for the help thats one question solved. :hokus-pokus:

Hi mate there arn't many differences between the GT and Glanza other than the shape, the engine is the same appart from the glanza used a CT9 B turbo compared to the CT9 A f the GT. The difference being it had an extra fin on the exhaust side to reduce lag on the CT9, The glanza is also about 100-150 Kgs heavier than the GT this is where the performance gain is found.

If your looking for a GT the twin light 95 car i think is the nicest.

Hi , my name is Gustavo i'm from Lima-Peru

well , i have a starlet glanza V 1999

that's a good car , i make some things like up the boost

now i be in 1.2 bar like a 18 PSI , hks air filter , blitz blow off , and blitz turbo timer

well i need more technical information about the starlets cause here in peru is not a popular car.

maybe we can change perfomance ideas.

bye

Gustavo

hi gustavo. i live in the north of scotland and it also dosent have many starlets or glanzas. but it is always a good thing to stand out from the group. that sounds like some really nice mods. does the dump valve sound sweet.? :hokus-pokus:

i'd love a little starlet gt as a runabout. be so much fun humbling a lot of sports cars in a little hatchback.

standard starlet gt does 0-60 in approx 6.9secs, top end is 135mph as long as you have no 112mph limiter. the glanza is believed to be about 7.7secs to 60 top end will be the same
