Needed to buy a 1.0 litre 5 door auto for the missus, thought it would cost me £3000 all in, looks like it could cost £3500 though :crybaby:

to be honest, you could've got a UK car for the final price

(ignore the Tsport comments - its like Turrets for some of them ;) )

I did search for a similiar model with 5 doors, automatic, upto 5 years old, the search came up with the cheapest car at £4799 without the alloys and full body kit.

Oh well might put it back on eBay. Anyone got a box of kleenex handy? :crybaby:

ahhh - if you needed an automatic, then yeah, these are hard to come by...

if its what you want, stick with it - although ditch those rear lights...

To be honest it looks a good clean car.

So long as you are happy and it is to keep for a while, i'd say good on you.

Hoping to keep it for a long time, daughter reckons it will do her for 10 years once the wife gives up the keys on it.

I don'y think you have been ripped off, and i don't think you have a bargain either, as was said before, automatics are hard to find.

Looks a good clean car, i would keep it for a while and see how your wife likes it, and i bet she does... and surely a happy wife makes it worth it.

Hey, so long as the car gives your missus many years of trouble-free motoring....

Ignore those who say "You should have bought a T-Sport" - all of us should have bought one of those... but you can't get them in auto!

Ok, so its a little on the pricey side, but not to worry - should keep you happy for ages! ;)

Wife would have my {censoreds} off.

She's in love with it, luckily I got him to go down to £2700, was prepared to pay upto £3000, and it looks much better in the skin than the pics on eBay.

nice motor congrats :P

price is about right as my 1.3 auto is worth about £3.5k (w reg 1999), i guess ur car is quite rare as i don't think they make the 1.0 full autos in the uk, only semi autos

as soon as ive bought something i refuse to look at the price of it anymore as over time price usually goes down... that way i insulate myself from despondancy about cost. are you happy with it? more importantly is the missus happy with it? if so let it be :)
