Hi,

Any performance or sound upgrade by changing this filter?

Well it's better quality than the stock item and they claim improved acceleration and bhp but I doubt it's noticeable.

Biggest advantage is it can be used for life with cleaning so no replacements for 'a million miles'.

Bit pricey though -

This airkit doesn't make an extra racingsound.

Does anyone know where you can buy an airfilter for the aygo like the one under? (mushroom  )

If I change the air filter myself, would I void the warranty?

I'm going to Japan soon and I was thinking of getting one of these: http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_airfilter.html (the one for 1KR-FE engine).

These TRD airfilters are made by DENSO, as is the original one.

TTE in Germany is selling them, but they are a rather expensive...85 euro for the filter and 35 for the postman...

This is an induction kit which replaces the airbox and as far as i know nobody has developed one for the road for this engine as yet. Although the C1 cup racer does have an induction kit fitted

These are panel filters and all the replacements so far will be of this type:

Panel filters are between £35 and £100 where as you can expect a good induction kit to be £100 plus

Hope this clears that up for you

thanks
