Hey people

I may regret asking this but here me out, I was just wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that sells 60mm lowering springs for a 1995 corolla e10 1.3 16v 3 door. I have looked everywhere and seem to only be able to find 40mm springs which i have already. A friend of mine said that he cut his springs to reduce the height. I think he took 1 coil off, Is this a good idea or not?

Any one else with any other ideas

Thanks people

DON'T DO IT.

It may look cool but you will end up with only your bump stops working as your suspension. I've got -30mm springs and because they springs aren't stiff enough for my engine/gearbox weight they are more like -45mm and I'm spending a lot of time "bottoming out" the suspension. It will also lower the centre of gravity of your car too far.

I've just had a complete chassis / suspension analysis done and have been told that my Corolla's front "roll centre" is below ground which they tell me is a "bad thing". Don't go lower that -30mm or you end up with a very nasty ride and the suspension components end up working outside their design range - definetely not safe.
