I'm curious and not being funny in any way but it seems to me that all the money you have spent on your car (which does look very nice imo) why didn't you get a GT4 to start with and modify that?

Is it insurance reasons because surely with your mods bumping up your current insurance there wouldn't be that much difference.

Please don't take it in the wrong way your car is stunning, I like what you have done and personally prefer it in black to the colour you are considering spraying it. (more subtle)

I bought the car for 2250. came with full service history and im only the 3rd owner :). wouldve loved to get a gt-four but im only 20 and paying 1200 for 10 months insurance. the price i got the car for was a bargain and it was fast enough for me :).

i got the lights off a guy from www.edinburghcruise.co.uk because his celica was written off and was needing rid of them. so dont know where he got them orignally but i love them.

i bought the car on the aim not to modify it untill next year after my ncb and turn 21 then mod it silly. but i got

Afterburner lights

17" wheels

spoiler

boss kit

momo wheel

for only 240 pounds, and i had all my old entertainment equipment from my nissan, so that kinda put that idea out of the window.

so technically i havent spent a great deal on the motor and it looks better than most modified ones out thier.

my aim at the moment is to get the car running like it just came out the show room.

its not needing any work done to it at the moment but i have :

Platnium Plugs

Timing belt

Fan belt

Front brakes

Rear brakes

Oil Filter

Air Filter

so hoping to have that all fitted in the next couple of weeks but thats weather permitting.

can anyone reccomend me a place to get the brake shoes for the celica dont fancy paying through the nose.

so is their any sites that club use`s for parts.

Thanks for comments and will have a think on respray maybe just a pearl laquer but not sure what colour would go with black :).

dealers for the shoes mate , unless someone here knows any diff. they seem to be hard to get hold of - is your hand brake comming right up ????

clear wing indicators will make it look better also.

Yeah indicators on thier way. !Removed! hate orange lol.

will contact dealer.

also having trouble with rear drop links. need to order another 2 to get back end lowered because the ones i have are knacked.

the handbrake used to go right up. so tightened it so it goes half way. still no luck.

so only other thing it can be are the shoes.

Thanks again guys

Only got the front of the car lowered at the moment because the drop links were being difficult then the snow started :(.

But you can notice a big difference straight away when its been brought down 40mm, likes to stick to the road and gives a more aggressive look.

Prefer the black afterburners to any aftermarket ones out theyre :).

Thanks
