i would say 68hp for a 1.0 16v car is average

the new clio 1.2 16v has 75hp

the punto 1.2 8v has 60hp

the new fiesta 1.25 16v has 75hp

granted we probably arent talking about any truly significant diferences but....

the 1 litre fiesta i owned years ago was far more rapid than the courtesy yaris. Im certain im not just reminiscing favourably about something i loved very much at the time . n maybe i am

Have to agree with you on the new Yaris though - feels sluggish, even compared to my 1.0l (I've got one of the new MKII's as a courtesy car at present).

Don't forget though, isn't it just a triple?

ah...

im honestly not knockin that yaris courtesy i was loaned guys tho :) . it was really good for fuel economy, forward was nice n smooth n stable, car interior was spacious and comfy, great easy to read display and it was all sorted at very short notice seein as MrT reckon 2 week minmum notice for a courtesy... they did it for me with 2 days notice ...it was just a surprise to see 68 bhp
