Hiace Camper Engine

Hi there,

I have a 1979 Hiace Camper with a 2000cc 18R engine which has decided to die on me :(

I was wondering if anyone here would know of anywhere selling the 18R engines (new/used/recon'd), if not does anybody know if a Hilux/Hiace 2000cc 3Y engine can be mounted instead.

Any help/advise at all is greatly appreciated .

Hi there I have a 18R-U engine for sale, which I just removed from my 1977 celica st , the engine seemed in good condition although the chains need done.(BTW 18r-u is an unleaded version probably a low mileage API import engine from Japan)
