Spare Wheel Cover

So the spare wheel cover doesn't fasten (velcro), Ii has 'Freesport' written on it, so it must be the right one...........mustn't it? It came with the car, but it has to be at least 1" too narrow to fit the new Bridgestone I've got on it - 235/60 R16. Is it me, or have I got the wrong size cover?

Sounds like the wrong cover i also replaced the spare on my rav last week for a Bridgestone 235/60 R16. and it fits no problem, also sound like the original clip fastener is missing as im sure velcro was never a standard feature.
