Okay. Due to an iminent house purchase the car has to stop costing money. Thought you might like to see the results so far

As we bought it

Now

The obvious bits are: facelift front, clear front indicators, 17" BK121 alloys with new tyres, Parking Sensors

Less Obvious: New front Xmember, Alloy Gear lever with lit diagram, Discs and pads all round, rear anti rollbar assembly refurbished, K&N induction kit, new cam belt, replaced drivers front wing, Clarion double din CD Player

Most of this came from eBay, TCB or websites linked to by the kind people on this site. I have not recorded the true cost as it would frighten me, but the credit card has had a pounding.

Hope you are sympathetic to what has been done, we are both of the opinion that subtle mods work best on a car so beautiful.

Here you go, doesn't photo well but looks great at night. I have wired it to the cigar lamp so it is only on with the lights

We liked the wheels. Unfortunately thay are 2nd hand and are not in as great condition as they photo. I am also about to start a row with the garage that sold me them as his lad failed to balance the wheels twice and I have just had to pay 23 quid to have them done, so he will be getting the bill on Monday :ffs:

Cheers, I reckon more like:

We have turned a 1000 yard Celica into a 100 yard Celica. Once you get closer than that you start to see the imperfections. Still for 173k miles it goes like stink and looks the danglies for the price of a tidy 1ltr Nova
