Abs Sensors - 2 Required

hi all

ive already checked with toyota breakers, but they cant help. im after two abs sensors (fron 2 wheels), and am not enthusiastic about toyota's prices :ffs:

can anyone suggest a reliable likely source for new/used parts?

i think you will struggle to get used ones out of the hubs as they are a git to remove without breaking them , i had to drill my old ones out ,before fitting the new ones - did you try TCB , CHEAP TOYOTA PARTS . Why do you need both , have you tested them for codes. ????????

i think if you go to a scrapyard and ask for the whole hub assembly with the abs/speed sensors in place, make sure they take the plug off from under the bonnet and feed it through etc... ring around and see what you can get. gt4 booster is right about taking them out. the chances of getting them out without damaging them are basically 0. they seem to glue the rubber bung and then bolt them in. good luck anyway
