Yeah.... phase 1 heathens.... :lol::lol:

Very nice mate, how are you finding the ride?

And more importantly - have you figured out the keyless entry.... ;) I had terrible trouble on the T-Spirit I borrowed, had to keep checking if it was locked or not.... :lol:

It's easy peezey, you just walk up to it it unlocks when you get out, just press the button to lock the car and walk away, as simple as that!

Speaking as a Mk1 Phase 2 "Heathen", It looks very good. (For a five door ;) ). How are you getting on with the MMT?

The mmt is ok but I still stand by what I said the other day, it is a bit sluggish in auto mode nearly came a cropper crossing a lane of traffic and it decided to change down across the car I was crossing, not good! Much better in manual mode, but thats the easy one so am perservering for a few days in auto to see if I can get it to function properly.

I saw a mk 2 for the 1st time just the other day on the approach to a motorway, had about 10 seconds to nose at it & it looked quite nice. Before then I could never really make up my mind but after seeing 1 in the metal I'm in a better position to judge, it was a similar colour to yours & imo it's not as nice as the mk 1 (but I would say that as a mk 1 owner) but judging it as a car on it's own I think it's quite nice looking.

HI,

Yes it is venetian silver and to change the mph to kmh and vice versa you just press the button thats on the display, the one nearest the steering wheel, press and hold it for a second or 2 and it will just change. Lucky you getting a free service, I got the champagne and a free solid silver keyring, would have much preferred the service!

Looks good, you must be very proud now you've finally got it.

Any chance of a photo of the dashboard/speedo when the ignition is on and display showing?

I've not seen a "real life" photo of what it's like.

congrats on the new car......

sorry to hijack the thread :P ........btw have u any idea on how to remove the head unit from this yaris??.....since the knobs and buttons are all seperated and spread across the dashboard........and not the rectangular type.

refer to your first picture........if my explanation is kind of confusing....=)

anyway from where i am from......yours is the Yaris S Limited(with remote electric start)....while the nextfew are Yaris S type(with bodykit)......and the Yaris E type(normal)
