i use toyotas 5/30 with a toyota filter £21 incl vat .its to be changed every 3000k , i dont use mine much so toyota oil does me.

if its racing or extremely boosted to the hilt , you best use a fully synthetic oil . Silkolene PRO S 10w-50 Ester Fully Synthetic

or

Silkolene PRO R 15w-50 Ester Fully Synthetic

do you think i should use an engine flush to get more resadue of the old oil out as i dont know if mineral, synthetic or semi synthetic oil has been used in the past and ive heard that these should not be mixed.

you could buy a 1/2 litre tin that you mix in before you drop the oil , simply run the car around the block for a few miles .

i dont know what mine was ran on before hand , and its been fine with the oil i put in.
