Hiya, if the front wings are that bad I'd check the rear inner arches before I made any decsions, as if these are gone, then it'd be best to move on imho.

All depends on what you want, and the conditon of the car you have now.

£5k-£6k will get you a really nice 1jz-gte mkiii supra, with a fair amount of change.

But, you could also get a MKIV TT Supra for that money.

thanks for your reply.. tell u the truth i dont have a clue about mechanics, i bought it off a mate nearly 5yrs ago.. he was a mechanic, and i know he did a bit of work on it, head skimmed etc..as i said might get it checked out before i spend money on bodywork.. but im sure there are better cars out there, its just its the first supra ive ever owned and feel attached to it..as for mk1V s not sure what im buying, heard that jap imports can be a problem

thank you.. will see what happens if i keep it.. but im sure there are better cars out there.. its just that im worried if i have this one done then other things start going on it.. but suppose that could happen with any car i buy

Get a mint late spec Mkiii  I'll hav eone over a MkIV any day.

Imports are no problem at all, infact they tend to be in better condistion then UK cars!

cheers.. dont see them advertised much though.. bit weary about buying stuff on eBay, normally ive bought cars off someone i know.. like the supra i have now belonged to a mate of mine that was a mechanic.. done a lot of work on it.. only payed a grand nearly 5yrs ago hardly cost me a penny since in parts that is..

There are some about..

Rememeber with eBay you can always view a car before you bid...

I personally intend to import my perfect car direct from japan... there isa specific model edition I want, and they tent to be rust free and low miles over there.... I am expecting to probably have paid £4-5k by the time it is over and here... but I want one of the best I can get. There are no cars that I would want over a Mkiii supra that don't cost a HUGE amount more

i must admit i prefer the mkiii... and as i have a 1986 model another 5yrs it would become a classic.. thats if it lasts that long lol.. ive seen a few mk1Vs but they can be expensive.. there are a cpl down here in dorset for sale around 5 grand red and black.. prefer black.. but as i say i dont know a lot about cars mechanically.. so it would be ideal if i found someone who could help me to buy.. u see mkiii s on eBay going for a song but must have a lot wrong with them... i bet mines only worth about 300 pound
