Noisy Steering

Hi all, I've just bought a 1994 2.0 GK 3-door Rav which has been stood for about 12 months, and the steering sounds real clunky, mostly from the nearside front, has anybody got any ideas?

Could be your Steering Joints,check the Rubbers aren't perished and leaking Grease and check your Power Steering fluid too while you're at it,this can make it clunky if low. The Tracking could be out too,this will affect Steering lock to lock.
