Modded Gti Insurance - Where From?

Hi,

My car insurance is soon up for renewal. I have a '91 GTi. Currently I have fitted a Blitz panel filter, mongoose exhaust system and have non-standard alloy wheels (same size as originals tho).

I'm 24 (25 first week of April) and have a 2 years NCB. So far got a quote with Admiral of £480 fully comp.

Any ideas where I might be able to beat this?

£480 sounds like quite a good price...

Only places i can think of to try is Adrian Flux or HIC - see http://www.hertsinsurance.com/

Other than that, my mate rang Noel Dazley - 0127625996, and got a very cheap deal on his modded mr2.

First place I always try for modded is Adrian Flux

But they not massive mods wheels and exhaust so most should cover you, you been on confused.com see what they come up with?

My GT-i was £550 with 2 years no claim and I was 22, I now 23 with lots of mods and living in Manchester pretty much double, but moving back down south soon was only up here for bit with work hoping it halves again but betting it wont!

lol you all have it easy, insurance in N.I. is extortionate.... my best quote so far is 1200 fully comp, im 22 (23 next month) but with zero no claims. NOT FAIR!!!
