I have the TNS200 fitted in my Rav4 - I was under the impression that the 300 will fit as the main difference being it uses a DVD as opposed to the CD in the 200.

I have previously compiled a diagram of the wiring pinouts of mine:-

http://www.spips.co.uk/rav4/images/radcon.gif hopefully if these are the same as yours, then I would hazzard a guess and say yes it will fit.

here is the update.....my dealer has told me that it will not fit into my rav.the tns310 is the upgraded model that is compatible with rav's.the tns300 is now discontinued.he was trying his best to try and sell me the 310 £918 fitted.when he realised that i was not going to go for it he then said i can get you the wiring harness and antenna plus earth plate and fit it for £490...i would have to pay for the equipment up front.he explained that it was a risk that i was taking as it may not be compatible with a rav 4.he has told me to wait a couple of days as he is going to contact a friend in toyota to ask his advice.i have to say this guy was very informative and helpful.i have the instruction booklet for the tns300 into a rav 4!!!but im still unsure whether to go ahead and Shell out £500. i may flick a coin

Hi Atlis

I have 2004 Rav4 XT4 and have a TNS300 which I purchased on e-bay. I purchased a new loom from the local Toyota dealer, and a new sat nav antenna from a electronic dealer with GT5 connector for around £16. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GPS-Antenna-Amplifie...8QQcmdZViewItem

Whole system works a treat

Hi Atlis

Yes I downloaded the Toyota fitting instructions, and fitted the antenna as they recommend. They show a strip of metal, so I found something suitable in my garage and stuck it in place using double sided tape, then placed the antenna magnetic base on top. My system also has the optional ETA, a super gadget that gives traffic info  The antenna for this is also very expensive £153  This has a special FARKA connector, which is used by BMW and MINIs a local car radio shop found me a suitable cable and I added a splitted box the existing radio lead and fed the signal to each unit. The whole system has worked wonderfully, and took us down through France to a hotel by just entering the phone number  On the way back ETA warned of slow traffic on M25

Hi there. Would you be able to elaborate on your fix for the ETA/DRG antenna. Have you just got a bit of co-ax and connected the computer to the car radio antenna? I'm also trying to fit sat nav into my Yaris on the cheap you see. Any help would be very welcome.
