Rav4 Alarm

Can anyone help? The alarm on my recently purchased GS VVTi (2002) seems over sensitive. Their is no mention of the alarm in the User Manual, although the Toyota dealer who supplied the vehicle said that it is a standard feature. Are there any ultrasonic sensors? If so where? Can the central locking be activated without the alarm? Many thanks.

Brian. if you remove the radio. behind it and to the bottom you'll find a radar sensor its held on with 2 ties and a sticky pad. remove it and turn it down by the screw behind the grommet. port of entry fit system.they tend to set them to high.hope this helps
