Turbo Conversions?

Can a normally aspirated 2.4 diesel engine from a hilux have a turbo bolted straight on?

It all really depends on a few things im not sure if the 2.4turbo d is the same engine as the 2.4 N/A

But even if they are the same the work that would have to be done would be fairly high IMHO as you would have to change all the manifolds and quite possible the exhaust you may even need a different fuel pump, get a oil feed to the turbo and if its a EFI engine you may have to change the ECU

I just think it would be easier and a lot less hassle to sell yours and buy a 2.4td
