Celica Gt-four Wrc

well on a five grand fto they wnat me to pay around three grand but on a five grand celica the bets qoute i got was about £2300.

To be honest, i thought they wouldve quoted you more than that for a GT4, im looking at paying around £1400 fully comp, but thats being 21 with 1 yr ncb.

As Adam said, you sure that quote is for a GT4 and not an ST or GT?

I dont think thats right mate , my GT is group 16 apparantly - the GT4 must be 18 or 19 .

P.s i made the mistake of geting a powerful car way toooo young and wrote it off within a month maybe cause i drive like a ***** sometimes but i would still advise you to go st or maybe even gt first .

I thought that the groups were like this:

ST - Group 12

GT - Group 15

GT4 - Group 17

Supra - Group 19

that could be the group for the gen5 as it costs the same to insure mine as it would a GT gen6

All I'd say is you may not enjoy the car as much being only 17/18 .. I know if I'd have had my MR2 and my S2000 at 18, I'd now have had as much fun as I'm having now .. I'd be in hospital or prison.

Having owned all three (except my mr2 wasn't a turbo :() i can safely say the supra is the fastest by a long shot, but the gt4 just eats corners up for breakfast :)

Gets very addictive just power sliding the car through corners without any need for the brake

My tubby was more "nippy" than your soup .. but for sheer accrleration, I couldn't get close.

But when i said it out performs some group 20 cars, he said not a tt soop. well my point was... thats not entirely correct, as my car has out performed a tt soop.

Sure is, one of my biggest regrets is letting a mint Carlos Sainz ST185 slip through my hands, Carlos Sainz and Louis Moya had even signed the dashboard .... I let my head rule my heart and it still haunts me to this day .

Put the money towards paying off my student loan instead!
