Fuel Guage

hi all

my fuel guage on my rolla is a little bit wonky at the moment anybody any ideas on how to sort this or is it a job for a garage

i've also asked the same question on the corolla forum but no answers back yet

could you elaborate on "wonky" please. What is it not doing?

it's showing empty when full then it'll show 1/2 full and so on.......

phil, from corolla forum says

"Would probably think the sender fuel tank on blink, in car it just under the rear seats in van not 100% sure. Never had to replace one yet so not sure how hard, try a garage see what they say to replace can't see as it being a too difficult job?

on Starlet & Sera fuel sender is accessed under the rear seats. Easy to take out and swap over, or even to bend the float arm to adjust the level, or to replace if needed.
