Is it a manual or auto transmission??

It could just be the idle speed a little low or maybe a vaccum hose split

causing an air leak

Hello Mick24,

I've the automatic version. I allready check all(?) the hoses and I think they are good (is there a simple way to check them?). In the highway it goes good, but in the city, and especially when it's hot, it gets really bad. But I think you could be right about the idle speed. Is that a simple thing to do?

Thank you for your reply,

I have a 97 auto previa with a LPG conversion and I too have a problem with it dying when I slow down.

Any ideas most welcome.

Hello again...

I still dont know what`s the problem with my previa, but, and I really dont know why, it`s resolved, not by me, but by some misterius reason!!!!

I check all most every thing(?), vacuum hoses, vacuum valv., clean the inj., new air filter, etc., etc., and it still wasn`t doing that good, but after 500, 600 km is doing fine, like nothing happened... I did does km`s in the highway, at a constant speed (140. 150 km/h), and after a while it was, and it`s still doing fine...

Could be from the fuel ? Or something else ? ...

So my advice would be, before doing anything or going to a garage, do a few Km`s at a constant speed and maybe the problem resolves by it self...

Any way, my previa has now 241000 Km, and this was the biggest problem I had, if you can called a problem!!!!

Regards to every one,

KA100
