Import Hilux Insurance

any of you guys know of decently cheap insurers , i am currently with norwich union who do imports for the same price as uk models , but if you know of any that may be cheaper please let me know - been quoted around £350 upto now which isnt bad at all.

They cover all mods including winches/lift kits etc,also inclusive is greenlaning and offroad cover

You might also try Equity Red Star who will do same type of cover.

The only thing with other companies is they will not pay out if any mods or greenlaning/offroading was being done at time of claim

I tried most of the specialised 'Import' insurers when I got my new Hilux 3 Lt Vigo import.

but suprisingly Norwich Union Direct 'Quoted me Happy' & beat all the others by a big margin (they did want a hefty excess though).

The NFU mutual (National Farmers Union) were also not bad as they insure a lot of 4x4's for Farmers.

You don't have to be a farmer to use their insurance.
