finally picked my T-sport up on thursday.had a big cheeeeezeee :D on my chops ever since.i had been driving my cousins celica[140] with sports pack.for last 2 weeks.and was impressed..but ***** what a difference the t-sport is!!!.in nearly every way...speed sound etc..etc...looking forward to becoming a gold member in next few days.......y,all

i cant wait for that tesco 99 to come over here in bolton! I will be using that all the time. Finding a Shell is a bit of a pain sometimes

Hmm - not sure it's just the Octane rating mate..........I've used Total's 99 RON over in France and it's not as good as Optimax.

I think Optimax makes the difference because of the additional additives, not just the octane rating. I've used BP Ultimate and it's not as good (I don't think) as Optimax either.

Might be psychological, but give it a go.

Just got a T Sport a month ago and also love it. Just starting to realise how fast I can corner this thing. I would like more bottom end kick but when its howling down country roads in the 60-100 zone its class.

I agree about the petrol. The first time I put optimax in I noticed a better sound to the engine and more response. I tried the Tesco 99 and didn't get the same feeling from it. Like you say though, possible all psychological.

Any ideas on tuning these things up?

Congratulations - I'm so pleased that I went that step further and got the TSport - all the safety features and that extra UMPH with 190 bhp..! I just love every minute that I drive it (he's called WRRzel - reg is WRR). A friend asked me what the T in TSport stood for - I said... "TERRIFIC!"
