How Do You Lift Up Front Wiper Blade?

was washing my aygo for first time today and i couldn't lift up the front windscreen wiper blade. it got about 1 cm off the glass then just wouldn't budge. the rear one lifted off fine. any tips? is there like a lever you have to press or something?

Stop trying cos you will end up bending it! the way the front wiper is done cannot be bent upwards like conventional wipers as it has that extra arm (tyhe bottom one) you have to unscrew it and take it all as a whole mate!

Thought it was like that by looking at it, thanks for the confirmation :) the wiper works well too.

oh right, fair enuf, will just hav to wash around it then and lift it temporarily to get under it, can't be bothered to to unscrew it
