Fidgits and I have set up a league on BATracer.

In this you pick a car and set it up to its optimal settings in order to get the fastest settings.

You also choose driving style and create strategies for Qualifying and Races.

In this game it is important to work with your teammate, doing so any car could win. It is not a matter of Renault's thrashing the rest.

To join register at BATracer

And join the TOC private game using the following information.

Private Game # 471

Password = tocracing

Then choose which car you wish to race. Obviously 2 people can race in each team.

Any further questions and I will update this post to try and help everyone out.

Best of luck people.

it is a cool strategic F1 sim - you try and setup your car for the track using test runs..

then set your qualification and race strategies, and then sit back and wait for the results..

it only takes 5-10 mins a day, and you only need to log on once a day, although more than likely you will end up popping on frequently to 'tweak'

oh, and dont think that once all the good cars go its pointless - on the IMOC race (where Robie and I found this) a Williams won the first race, and a Torro Rosso is currently 3rd in the championship...

its all about tactics!

(and as Rob says, a little bit of teamwork!)

bit of help to get started

quick start

basically, you go to car setup - click test, and you get hints on where to put the slider to 'set' particular parts of the car...

click test again, you get more info and so on...

Ok I took Honda. I think I sussed it, I guess we have to wait until all teams are filled before we start?

Looks like Mclaren have handed the organisers a sly backhander in the hope of gaining an unfair advantage! :D

Surely you should have chosen Ferrari, Robie :D

Anyway, is this allowed?!

Paul.

What's happened? :S Can't I play? :'(

:D Ok, I'll let it go but only if you finish behind the Super Aguri

can you set the time interval between sessions?

i'm thinking the 24 hours is a bit long...

12 would make things happen a bit quicker.. no? (but it would have to be something like 10am - 10pm)

Nope, but there is a manual "proceed to session" button apparently. So we could start a thread in that message board where everyone replies after they have finished their set up and then proceed.

No - Ed Chamber is me mate ;)

I do appologise! Updated

okay.. .well lets wait for at least a full grid (or near as dammit) and see where we go from there!

Sure I can find another Super Aguri driver if nobody else wants this highly desirable job :D
