Windscreen Squirters Not Working On Gen 5 Celica Gt4

Are there any common faults on the 5th gen celicas that make the front windscreen squirters stop working?

I have removed the squirter motor, tested it and that’s fine.

I have checked all fuses and there fine too.

Any ideas where the problem might be? Are there know or common problems?

If not im guessing its probly the switch at the bottom of the wiper stalk?

Nope, not a sausage! the motor is silent, so no power getting to it.

Check the multi connector by the steering cxolumn. Find the wiper live feed and check for voltage there. It`s unlikely to be that but worth checking before you Shell out for a new wiper switch.

is the 185 wiper switch the same as the st205 , if so i have a spare for 10 quid. could post pics of the plug if needed.

Just had a look in my Chilton manual, and i`m none the wiser. Useless bladdy thing.

I've never been my-self, but I understand that in London the windscreen squirters are not needed 'cos at every set of traffic lights someone jumps out and washes your windows for you.

Maybe try moving there? :D
