Anyone Bought This Company's Fascia Adaptor

hi all, just browsing for a fascia adaptor and stumbled upon this one for a reasonable price. I don't know why it says '03 onwards, aren't all new shape corollas the same headunit fit??

On the same topic who has converted to an aftermarket unit and what unit have they got to work alongside the steering controls.

the fascia adaptor i used was the one from autoleads.. it's fits nicely but it does have a blue tint to it, so it didn't match my fascia perfect.

there are no adaptors that will let you use steering controls for ANY aftermarket headunit on the corolla.

i spent ages trying to find one.. but alas no luck.

i ripped my OEM headunit and replaced it with a Sony CDX-7750

that looks really nice. I am still deciding whether or not to go ahead and fit an aftermarket unit, did it not bother you doing away with the fuel trip computer as well and did you fit the bass box yourself? was it a nightmare?

wasn't bothered about trip computer... no loss as far as i was concerned (never used it).

it was fitted by me and a couple of mates. hardest bit was routing the cable from Battery to boot.. took it up the centre control past the hand brake... then under the carpet to underneath the back seat and then out to the connection at the box.

more time consuming than difficult

My facial adaptor looks fine in my car, even though there is a gap around the airvents, but i can live with that.

Got mine from the States, arrived in about 10days fron what i can remember.
