Picnic Diesel 2.2

In the past it was bodywork that usually caused cars to cease to be viable but now it seems to be expensive electronics or key assembles. Has anybody achieved a high mileage in a picnic diesel or an idea of what mileage might reasonably be obtainable given regular servicing please.
