Fuel Consumption Figures

I am looking to (hopefully) purchase a mk4 Supra when i return from working abroud.

i do however have a couple of fuel consumption related questions.

I travel 90+ miles a day and know how to drive carefully (had a 24v senator and golf VR6 on this run for some time).

What sonsumption figures could i expect on a steady(ish) cross country run in a manual non turbo and manual twin turbo. I am guessing carfeul driving in the TT shouldnt cause much of an increase as the turbos wont be spinning so much.

Maybe not the place ;) but i chose against looking at a RX7 due to its totally amazing average of 17mpg on a gentle run!

i know some will say go for a diesal but i want to live a little :)

cheers

If your concered in the slightest about MPG then rule the supra out of the list.

I have the same TT engine in my car, slightly heavier, I got 16 mpg out of my last tankful, probably looking at around 18 mpg for this tank.

I average 22-23mpg normally. Drive like a granny though.

TT and NA will get about the same mpg. Obviously TT will pour fuel in on boost!!

hi there,

on a long run i'll get around 50miles to a tenner,

love the rex's but would buy one for two reasons, everyone i know with one has had to rebuild the engine. £££££££££ big money and the running costs are astronomical!

good luck with the search, there are a few cars up for sale on the link below this thread. mkiv owners club, check the for sale section.
