I have to say after having a spin with Chris, no roll into corners and pretty tight handling

*cough* like a married couple

The TTE springs i currently have on are shocking for body roll, i was getting tad annoyed when i had the gmax on, but now comparing them both the tte are terrible in my opinion

The buckets help, you dont feel it as much as ur not sliding out ur seat so much but still needs sorting out!

get the wagons :)

Care to elaborate? I haven't a clue what "the wagons" are :P

Chuck04 says his TTE and Gmax were crap, but Chuck did you just change the springs?

I am *really* keen to avoid just changing springs, or whatever to get lower. (I dont want to change suspension to just get lower, its all about not going round corners leaning over like a yaught in a high wind!) its got to be the whole lot if I do, do this. The springs have got to match the dampening!! and if its adjustable thats all the better, as some roads are smoother / bumpier and good suspension is all about compliance, not just low & hard!

The TEIN Basic damper, I assume when you adjust it lower, stiffens up, dampening wise? overall, how adjustable is it?

Sorry about all the questions, I'm new to this sort of thing

I'll definately buy from Envy if I go for this though, and sign up for Gold membership :) will be worth doing!

The basics are only height adjustable and are the cheapest coil over in the tein range, they are designed really for fast road use.

The wagons are higher in the ranger cost a fair bit more and are dampening adjustable as well, these have a very firm ride and are good for track days.

Basics it is then, I would say... ok so only the height is adjustable - shame but hey ho, I dont want trackday suspension as I dont really intend on tracking the wee blighta, although if I do anything would be better than standard!! and the Yaris is my daily car, I dont want it to be ROCK 'ARD! suspension, I dont mind stiff.. I like that, but not un-movable stuff built for smooth tarmac tracks.

Cheers for the help guys... might just have a bill coming up in the future... hmmm! we'll see :)

tbh (and not wanting to offend anyone on here) the cars i've been in with basics, didn't feel any better than clarkys car just on tein springs. the only advantage i can see is the hight adjustment. tein say the basics are slightly better than standard, the super wagons are a fast road coilover (only available in japan). other wise for the Tsport only the Type flex are available in the UK, unless you wait a few months for the super compacts to be reliesed (on par with the super street, going to be priced around £700)
