I have a jap celica import and am looking to find the cheapest and best insurance quote.

Can anybody help me out with any names and numbers please?

elephant have just quoted me £390 on my import st205, mods declared, £250 total excess, protected no claims etc etc

Happy with that.

Sky insurance came up with the same price as well. I think they are even happier about imports and mods, so might be worth trying them

Elephant was the cheapest for me with mods declared on my MR2 turbo. Only problem is if the car is written off, the mods don't count including audio equipment!

I've had a bad experience with them and found them very :ffs:

For the past year I've been paying £700 ish for an ss2 with a 450 excess!. 6 years NCB (protected), 6 points (1 almost 3 years ago), no mods declared. Got a quote last night for £401 :) from its4me (I'd never heard of them either)! Well chuffed!!
