Hey guys,

Its that time of year again and the rear tyres have worn bold! was shopping around for Bridgestone tyres but i have been told that these tyres are not made anymore for the mr2 mk2. I have the original wheels so im looking for the standard size. Does anyone know where i can get hold of these tyres?

Regards

Don't .. they are shocking ..

What size rim are you running?

Get Toyo Proxies or Goodyear F1's .. more grip, last longer and a whole lot more predictable.

lmfao, are you serious?

Yup .. I've gone through *so many* tyres on my cars ..

The standard MR2 tyres are "not good" .. In my opinion.

I just checked Bridgestone's own website and they no longer do the 225/50x15.

Toyo's or Goodyears are a good option.

must admit there crap, i thought they would be good, but i lost traction on alot of long corners, so i binned them. :ffs:

overall the best i've had to date are toyo's t1-r's.

they are good for track days but also offer good grip when there not so warm with just normal driving,

and they actually do grip in the wet!

which is a first for a low profile tyre.
