Aygo Aerial Replacement

does anyone know where and how to fit a short stubby aerial to the aygo, the current one keeps hitting my garage door roof when i put my car in. and everytime i reverse out it gets caught and sounds like i reversed into a wall, not good.

I just nicked the shorter aerial from my wifes car, kept the original housing and screwed it on the Aygo - fitted fine. Assume you can just buy a stubby from any car spares place - are they a standard thread / fit ? ?
