Will A New Manifold Solve The Problem?

Hi

This is my first post to group.

I've been driving Toyotas ever since I passed my test 5 years ago but only really found this site last week.

I've recently bought a 9 month old 1.4 Corolla T3 Style to replace my 1994 Corolla GLi which was a superb little car. I've had my new Corolla for a couple of weeks and it has started to make a odd vibrating noise at around 3000 rpm in all gears, but not just when in neutral. Today it's having a new manifold fitted. Would you think this is the right thing to do? The sound seems to be coming from the engine whereas isn't the manifold something to do with the exhaust?

It's also having a mod to the front nearside seat which has a nasty rattle and the glove box fixed.

Appart from that it's a great little car and has the looks too!

Matt
