Verso - Bluetooth Hands Free?

Hi

Looking at buying a Verso.

Am most interested in the Full Sat Nav option, and wondered if this can be purchased with bluetooth Hands Free integration?

I have a Lexus with this fitted and it is extremely useful. I note the Verso has the same steering wheel buttons as my lexus, the telephone switches are blanked in the brochure though.

The way it works in the Lexus is that the system transfers the numbers from the phone memory to the screen and you can touch and dial.

Anyone got this or similar in the Verso?

Cheers

The Verso doesn't have the screen that the Lexus does so i doubt that you could do it. You can retro fit a handsfree kit using something like a Nokia CK-7W or a 1W and an audio mute lead. You can get the mute leads from Dashmount (http://www.dashmount.co.uk) and the brackets for holding the phones from there too.

I have a CK-7W in a Yaris, and my mum has a Fully installed kit with a cradle in her Verso which works great. Works fine with the satnav too.

I don't know if its all compatible though if you have the big colour screen you can get on the Corolla's. Can you get these on the new Verso's actually?

Hope this helps

I have just fitted the full screen sat nav to my wife's Verso. This is same unit that is fitted to the corollas and Ravs and does not have bluetooth . The unit is plug & play, all the wiring is already there. All that is required is a fascia adaptor for about £8.

The bluetooth option for the verso is an external unit you can find the installation manual at

http://techdoc.toyota-europe.com/

I fitted a Parrot CK3100 - works well, mutes the sat nav and comes through the front Speakers, but you have to use the separate buttons on the display rather than the steering wheel.

Just looked on the toyota publications site and there is a new installation manual for SWC bluetooth which I presume is steering wheel control. I don't know what is displayed on the head unit though.

Cheers guys.

Will ask the dealer - if he ever phones me back. Went to look at one at the weekend in the showroom, said he would phone me on Monday to arrange a test drive - no call yet.

Not used to this - Lexus are not like that!

Hi,

Can you please explain how you fitted the Parrot 3100 to Corola Verso

What I found so far is that Parrot can be connected to the ISO car radios but not the toyota specific

Have you used Toyota to ISO harness or something else?

My expirience was in obtaining bluetooth Mirror

The product is great but it makes the mirror heavier and very shaky

That finally I get rid of it

I am interested in fitting a full screen sat nav to my Verso could you give me an idea on price? How easy was it to install? Where is the best place to buy?
