there will be "yaris" based suv in 2007 from Toyota... But it wont be Rush - it is already sold in Europe as Daithasu Terios.

Very cute. 1.5l auto 4x4................there's a niche market for people like me who can only use one leg and have little money! I think it's got a lot going for it.

Umm... Is that not a rebranded version of the new Daihatsu Terios? I know that Toyota sold a version of the previous-generation Terios in Japan.

The engine will be a derivation of the ones in the new Yaris I bet.

Correct the new Daihatsu Terios is just a Toyota Rush with a different Badge. After all Toyota own 51% off Daihatsu so platform sharing, parts sharing and rebadging is the name of game with Toyota and Daihatsu.

The Terios/Rush will only be sold in Europe as a Daihatsu Terios model and not as a Toyota model.

Where I live we import the Toyota version of the Terios, it is known as the Cami, it is identical to the Terios apart from different badges.
